I’m sure there are down sides to being the handbag … but I can’t think of any right now.

After another big year for Deb we are once again very fortunate to be able to traveling to far off lands to have amazing adventures while having the opportunity to explore, relax and hang out with friends we have made from all over the world.

This year’s Stampin’ Up! trip is a weeks Greek Island cruise where we set sail from the port of Civitavecchia (about 1.5 hours north of Rome).

And then finally after three flight legs we were in Rome, where we collected our baggage and then shuttled to the port to board the ship.

I have been instructed to say that I was not expected to carry all the bags.

What does this year’s trip contain? Like a number of trips previously we have added additional time to take full advantage of being on the other side of the world. This year our trip has three main components-

• A Greek Island cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean ship Jewel of the Seas.
• A week in Italy spending time in Rome and Venice.
• The fast train to Switzerland to catchup with friends we made from last years ride in the US/Canada, and the four of us then spending a week on motorcycles in the Swiss, Austrian, and Italian alps.

After 21 hours flying and close to 30 hours travel time, we are now feeling the effects and starting look and feel like zombies. So it will be an early night for us and as tomorrow is a full day at sea it will be a good opportunity to just chill, relax and adjust to the new time zone.

Our first port of call is the whitewashed cliff-top villages of Santorini on Tuesday afternoon.

Coming into Sydney I played with slow-motion videoing on my new phone of our landing, which came out pretty well.
