The challenge with planning our Scotland ride was understanding the time and distance equation. That is, how many kilometres should you aim for each day that doesn’t make you feel like you are always chasing the clock, while giving you enough time to visit local sights without watching the clock. In this post I set out our ride plan and budget for our Scotland motorcycle tour.
When you think about Zürich what do you think about? Banks? Well yes, this certainly is the capital of banking in Switzerland with the financial district, shops I can’t afford to look into, and luxury Mercs and BMWs as taxis.!! But after taking a great walking tour there is much more to Zurich than just money.
This morning was spent sliding through the Italian countryside at 240km/h, passing crops, vineyards with their straight rows of grapes, and hay bales standing in the open paddocks. And within 25 minutes of getting to Venice we had checked into our accommodation and ready to start exploring with a walking tour of the city.
