With the handling of the little SV now transformed with sparkling new Wilbers suspension, it’s time to look at the next thing to fix / upgrade.

Following our US tour on the Harly Davidson Electra Glide we knew we didn’t want one of those but are interested in a more touring focused motorcycle. With the new Honda Goldwing recently released we were keen to test one of these to see if a Goldwing could be in our future.
Today we only really had one activity pre-planned and that was a rafting trip down the Shoshone river on the edge of Cody in the morning. After that we just chilled and took in the Buffalo Bill Museum and wandered the streets of Cody.
To date most of my ride fitness training for Deb has been limited to day rides. However, the ride in the States is going to be two weeks of riding so we need to start backing up ridings days.
Sometimes you twist the throttle to go faster and other times you just want to take in the aural sensation that a six cylinder bike offers. You’ve got to love the 1980″s Honda CBX1000 and Kawasaki Z1300. Just intoxicating.
In 2010 I had a bit of a problem with my ZX14 and there were a number of holdups with diagnosing the issue and getting parts etc so Canberra Motorcycle Centre most generously provided me with a demo VFR1200F to use.
