Review – 2Up 4 2Weeks

After my last couiple motorcycle tours overseas Deb was keen to join me on my next adventure. The Eaglerider Canada Yellowstone tour fit into our schedule perfectly. This was going to be the longest motorcycle tour we have done together and the first of this nature. The route looked amazing and covered a number of iconic National Parks. This was going to be a great test of whether we like this mode of travel.

Waterton to Whitefish 200km – Day 6 I need a Thesaurus

I’m running out of adjectives. The scenery continues to amaze us and blow us away. This ride has been awesome.!
From Waterton we are only a short distance from the US border as we head to a small town I think I could call home … Whitefish. Today we rode through Glacier NP, and had lunch by Lake McDonald.

Banff to Waterton Lakes 400km – Day 5 Riding in a Postcard

From Banff we made our way through the Kananaskis mountains to Waterton Lakes. As I rode today I just kept thinking that it feels like we are riding through postcard photos. Just spectacular.

Jasper to Banff 320km – Day 4 Just wow!

I remember seeing a picture of Banff’s mainstreet as a kid and just being blown away … and today we’ll be there! I can’t believe it.
Today was just wow. Amazing scenery, mountians, picnicing by glacier lakes, waterfalls, and we saw a bear!.

Kamloops to Jasper 470km – Day 3 into the Mountains

Today the scenery really started to change with the mountains looming and we were never that far from the beautiful aqua coloured rivers as we enter Jasper National Park. Today’s stops included the Spahats Falls, Avola, Rearguard Falls, and Mout Robson Park before getting to overnight accommodation at Jasper.

Winthrop to Kamloops 500km – Day 2 making friends

Today we ride from the beautiful little town of Winthrop to Canada with a lunch stop at the lakeside town of Peachland. Today was about covering miles and a good opportunity to start getting accoustomed with the Harley as it so different to my ZX14R (ZZR1400)!
Traveling with an Eaglerider tour group is quite different as all you need to do is ride and enjoy the scenery as they take care of all the rest.

The World Famous Victoria

Thursday Today we are back in Canada and docking in the port of Victoria. We were told that Victoria is a beautiful city full of beautiful gardens. There was a number of activities on offer but we opted for a simple tour of the city which included an hour at the Craigdarroch Castle. And true…
