It is really noticeable that we are moving out of the mountains as the temperature today rose quickly to over 30 degrees. Today we enjoyed just being out there and rolling through big sky Montana soaking in the landscape changes as the big Harley burbles underneath us.
I’m running out of adjectives. The scenery continues to amaze us and blow us away. This ride has been awesome.!
From Waterton we are only a short distance from the US border as we head to a small town I think I could call home … Whitefish. Today we rode through Glacier NP, and had lunch by Lake McDonald.
Today the scenery really started to change with the mountains looming and we were never that far from the beautiful aqua coloured rivers as we enter Jasper National Park. Today’s stops included the Spahats Falls, Avola, Rearguard Falls, and Mout Robson Park before getting to overnight accommodation at Jasper.
Today we ride from the beautiful little town of Winthrop to Canada with a lunch stop at the lakeside town of Peachland. Today was about covering miles and a good opportunity to start getting accoustomed with the Harley as it so different to my ZX14R (ZZR1400)!

The third phase of our trip starts today with a 2 week motorcycle tour on a Harley Davidson Electra Glide with Eaglerider taking in Canada, the Rockies, and through a number of National Parks including Yellowstone and finishing up in Denver. Our group is very diverse with 9 nationalities represented.
This is the first big motorcycle tour that Deb and I have done so there are many unknowns for us. But we are really looking forward to this.!

Looking at Google maps it gave a few options but the easiest and fastest option…
In only a couple of days we head off on our riding adventure so rather than packing heaps more in while we are in Seattle we are just doing a couple of things and relaxing so we are ready for the next leg. Beneath the Streets – Deb found this tour on one of the…
With a very full day of taking in the sights yesterday, today we started it somewhat slower with a relaxed breakfast at the diner up the road at 10:30. It seemed like everyone in Queen Anne had the same idea as it was very busy which unfortunately meant it was slow. Oh well we’re on…
On the ship I was asked a number of times whether I was looking forward to the bike ride later in our trip. I think there is a real danger in doing that as you wish away the here and now. The Adam Sandler movie Click comes to mind where he had a remote control…
