After a last minute call up on Thursday for motocomm duties for the Grafton to Inverell cycle race. I had to make a quick trip to Grafton. With limited time I opted to slab it straight up the freeway.
Sorry but freeways are not travelling they are for covering large distances quickly, completely devoid of the surrounding environment. They are also brain numbing boring!

Then on Sunday morning I travelled home. Taking in the scenery, the back roads, the small towns and soaking in the atmosphere.

Travelling through a herd of cattle in the long paddock.
I think this train is running late – old line out of Leadville.
What’s on your mind?
So pick up a map. Follow the wiggly lines to your next destination and start travelling.
Thankfully, freeways have on and off ramps. I plan on giving those a good workout along the Hume.
