The training continues
To date most of my ride fitness training for Deb has been limited to day rides. However, the ride in the States is going to be two weeks of riding so we need to start backing up ridings days.

This book recommendation came up on my reader feed from Gypsy’s Moto Travels and it intrigued me so I downloaded and read it.
While our trip to the US is still months away I have starting to turn my mind to what we need for the ride component of our trip when we hire a bike for a couple of weeks.
Sometimes you twist the throttle to go faster and other times you just want to take in the aural sensation that a six cylinder bike offers. You’ve got to love the 1980″s Honda CBX1000 and Kawasaki Z1300. Just intoxicating.

So far we only have a rough plan for today as we haven’t figured out the larger plan of where and what we are going to do next. But today we are heading 300km further north to Coober Pedy to have a look around this opal mining town.
